My name is Oluyemisi Oladejo from Ogun State, Nigeria. I’m a teacher cum writer, and I’ve lived with Sickle Cell Disease for over three decades. I once shared on African Sickle Cell News and World Report a story about how I lost ten babies in my fight against SCD and how my only daughter narrowly escaped death at birth.
Lately, I have been experiencing a significant deterioration in my health and my doctors think that the ultimate solution is a Bone Marrow Transplant. I have made contacts with an Indian hospital for the procedure, and all that stands on my path now is N15,000,000.
